As a Canadian I'm jealous of English musicians lol they pound for pound produce the best music, I don't understand how a small country like that can produce Zeppelin, the Beatles, Sabbath, Radiohead, Gorillaz, jamiroquai, ub40 and alt-j and obviously so many others. The variety of music is overwhelming and these are just some of the band's I can think of that cover rock and/blues/folk/metal/classic rock/industrial/hip-hop/pop/jazz/funk/reggae/classical etc. Neutral Milk is amazing btw. Random but for Canadian music I highly suggest looking up Matthew Good!

@@joelsewlal9480 There was actually an article for the reason why Brittain has produced and is continually producing so much quality music throughout the years, but I can't recall the exact title right now. However, a simple search led me to this which is a short summary of what I was trying to say initially: "Britain's most significant contribution to popular music during the 20th century was towards the expansion of rock music." I'll be sure checking out Matthew Good some other time, with some whiskey. Thanks for that!

This is also an interesting perspective that might offend some readers of course, hopefully not: "Americans hear all the American music, both good and crappy. But they only hear the good British music because the Brits don't try to export the crappy stuff. Crappy music always has a domestic market but not so much foreign. Think of some crappy American band you know and ask yourself if they're selling anything in Britain, probably not."

On the release of their first album, they were playing fantastic live shows. I think they got seriously burned out on the tour of their first/second albums though, and their show quality suffered a bit. I'm really excited to see them this fall if i make their show.

Saw them on 'The Other Stage' at Glastonbury this year (2017) I was working on the bar. I'd heard *of* them, but nothing *by* them. We finished our shift and all my mates headed off to see 'The Foo Fighters'. I've seen 'The Foos' before. A top band. 'Alt-J' had me glued to 'The Other Stage' though. Plus whoever was doing their lights/video. Man!!! Best visuals work I've ever seen. Seriously. And I've seen more bands than you've had hot dinners.

They are truly incredible, creative musicians. Some musicians just don't get into their music as much as you'd expect, which is ok. If I were them I'd be screaming whenever the horn comes in and going nuts, I mean In Cold Blood is so hype. Just because they don't doesn't mean they aren't connecting or putting their effort in: they may be concentrating on nailing it.
