why are you sorry for the background noise? you're in his home environment surrounded by houses families and children playing - that's all part of the culture and experience you're bringing to your viewers. good demonstration and kudos to the bloke for his tenacity and talent.

love the baked core from the same moulding sand, this stuff seems to have great qualities over greensand. I notice he feeds the furnace with coke [I also burn coke in my furnace] but what's the brown stuff he's putting in as well?.

The sand has amazing texture ...watch it fall away slowly like a gel almost. Very interesting.

@@markfryer9880 I'm no casting master by any means but I thought the sand needed to be dry. Of course it's difficult to discuss when you don't have a total grasp of what's going on....now if ya wanna talk generators that's my deal. I thought in the big industrial stuff the sand has some kind of glue thats heat activated and once it's used in a casting it's done.

Молодец мужик. Меня мучает вопрос. Почему он и подобные ремесленники работают на корточках? Почему не используют стол, ну или каменную платформу чтобы стоя работать. Он ведь даже разливал сплав стоя на корточках в неудобной и неустойчивой позе.
