Try BlingMaster Aluminator. You will get twice the shine in half the time. Just apply once, wipe it off and done. Also has built in protectant for longer lasting shine.

How did you mount the Flex PXE 80 3" pad with the rotary pin? Did you make a hole on the pad?

Hi there! I have a Pet Grooming Trailer. It is made with .040 aluminum trailer and it is all white. I do not know the differences in Aluminum but I am told it is .040 aluminum and it is white not silver. Don't know the difference but I would like to buff and wax. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

It would take all day with that 3in pad. I use the FLEX_PE 14-2 150 120/USA Variable Speed Rotary Polisher with High Torque Motor for a job like but I am not professional..

Man......where do I start. First......you will NEVER get an even shine doing it that way. It will be all blotchy. Second..... it will take you a month to do it that way. So........ Go get yourself a real grinder that plugs in, preferably 5,000 rmp. Then get yourself some Airway buffing pads and some bars of red and green jeweler's rouge. I can buff out those trailer rails to a high mirror shine in 2 days using the products I have mentioned.

I agree with using a large grinder to do the whole truck and large areas. This combo is much better used for small tight areas like wheels or the areas you cannot get a 8-9" pad in easily, but this work truck rail was the only aluminum around at the time. Speedwise the Flex PXE-80 has 4 RPM settings 2000/3000/4000/5800 in the rotary setting. I know it doesn't sound like it but it takes a lot less to make a 3" pad spin fast than a 8-9" pad. I haven't had issues with blotchy or uneven reflections/gloss.

Not sure how messy it would work for you but seen a video on WD 40 and scotch bright green pad to clean aluminum, then used mother’s and shines up quickly, Ether way with these trucks are massive to polish up,

@@williamstidham9526 I seen that video too with a Teenager. Of all the videos I seen his was the most inexpensive and yet effective method I have seen thus far. WD40-SCOTCH BRITE & MOTHERS = $20 BUX and Elbow Grease.

You de anodized it. You actually ruined the product. That's not the correct way to polish anodized aluminum. Anodized aluminum isn't supposed to have a mirror gloss.
@rendanschroeder6785

If it were anodized he would have had to do a lot more prep to make it polish especially just with a liquid polish

@@rendanschroeder6785 the guy sounds like he doesn't know anything about metal, that's not anodized. That is alloyed. That's not how I polish rub rails but it's a nice simple way of doing.

This is OXIDIZED, not anodized. It would look a lot more flat if it was anodized. Nobody anodizes extrusions going into the frame of a truck body it’s way too expensive. I wish they did
