at 8:43 ellie looks like a bit of a grump for having their nails trimmed and mentally taking a note to eat your shoes afterwards, lol

How’s your bunny doing now?? An abscess can be very painful and sometimes they keep coming back. :( Where was it located? Was it tooth related?

Never heard of critical care before, it's definitely something I'll get. I also keep some sudocreme (any other nappy rash cream will do) because it's great for treating urine burn, that's what the vet told me to use on it. I also use it to soothe sore hocks.

be careful though bc say your rabbit goes into stasis, you DO NOT want to pump them with cc as if can cause further disruption and worsen the emergency. always always take your bun to the vet b4 pumping them w/ CC. its extremely important. even if you call them and thats the first thing they suggest it is NOT always the right resort.

Keeping grooming supplies with first aid is a great idea!! It also ensures that you're doing an informal first aid supplies check each month with the nail clipping!

Watched this with a tab open to order anything we didn't have, which included gas drops! As a pretty new bunny caretaker, I am so thankful for this channel!

ok so i went out and got the medicines, here I include the prices I paid incase anyone was wondering what it would cost; Infants Mylicon (Simethicone) 30 mL $10.79 Neosporin Original 1 oz $7.99 Oxbow Critical Care 4.97 oz $9.99 Vetericyn Plus 8 oz 29.99 Kwik Stop (Styptic Powder) .5 oz $8.99 Total $67.75 I didnt find a heating pad or syringes or anything yet but here are the medicines, they were all brand name too, so you may be able to find cheaper off brand products. The Critical Care, Vetericyn and Kwik stop I got at a pet store, and while I was at it I grabbed Terramycin 3.5g $24.99 too just incase eye infections. The Simethicone and Neosporin I got at a grocery store.

remember to always go to the vet first guys. not just calling them or talking over the phone. it's extremely important to know what and why your rabbit went left BEFORE pumping them w/ anything. YES you want to still have these on hand bc i know w/ my local vet, if someone takes the bun to the vet for gas and its confirmed that its gas, my local vets allow us to administer the gas drops we have at home instead of over charging us for some of theirs.
