The process of restoring a nearly 30 year old Landcruiser 100 Series VX is a slow one, full of hiccups and parts that have done their duty diligently for years and are now in need of some Tender Love and Care! So any journey like that begins at the Terrain Tamer warehouse in Cape Town. In my case I get my friend Nicky and his son Andrew to help me fix my old cruiser! Well typically, but this time, behind the scenes I myself am learning to swing some spanners and getting myself greasey, because this episode is a hoot! We need to strip the hubs, change the wheel bearings, change the CV's but new brake disks and pads on, and get finalise our Torsion bar setup. The vehicle might be roadworthy, but that was just the very beginning!
