John 3:36 says, "He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”
Some translations say, "he who does not obey," but some say "he who does not believe..." So which one is it?
Short answer: Believe. Only one theme throughout scripture shows us how we are saved, which is through belief in Jesus as your Savior.
Once you are saved, you are always saved (OSAS). This is part 5 of a series about eternal security and why it is the core of the gospel. We covered the Scriptural basics in first 3 parts of our series and now we are explaining verses/passages that may sound confusing or that people take out of context.
