When my husband Bruce McCraw was a teenager and attended a Marty Robbins concert with his dad, Marty asked him to come on stage and sing at the piano with him. While Marty accompanied him on the piano, my husband gave his best performance of one of Marty's hits. Marty through back his head and laughed in delight when Bruce hit the high falsetto note Marty was so well known for! It was a real highlight of my husband's life! He'll never forget being accompanied by this GIANT entertainer!

Marty Robbins and my oldest brother, Jim Farmer, met in Arizona in 1949. They started their life-long country music career together. They were closer than brothers. I remember Marty and the band rehearsing for their night club act on my family's porch in Arizona. Marty and his Lovely wife and their two children were like family to my family. I am proud of every minute I was able to share with them. Such a wonderful, loving family. I was blessed to be where I was when Marty and his family were where they were. Marty and His family are the best of the best. I perform on stage, I do several of Marty's songs in "A Tribute to the GREATEST GENERATION", as well as many of my own songs. Marty will always be "TOPS" on my list of the Country Music Greats.
