Just saw her on Monday night in Vancouver! And she sounded AMAZING! Strongest vocals I think I’ve ever heard, almost 30 years later and just as strong as she was then.. who can say the same?
One of my favorite CDs! When this came on the scene, I was so sure of superstardom. Like Todd rundgren and so many talented people, you just never know..

Kind of an ignorant comment on here that I just felt needed addressing. You can probably guess which one. 😉 I'm sure her management company at the time, who screwed her over in the long run, didn't give her a choice in which song. While singing "Dark Horse" would have been cool since Elton John had mentioned it, "Birmingham" is what had already been released and was what was currently being promoted. So, there ya go. Not mad or angry here. I just wish people would do their homework before posting comments like this. She's an amazing artist. If you enjoyed her music, then just be appreciative of that. Let's try to keep things positive. 🙏😊

Why is it that the world thinks everyone with a North American accent is from the States??? Nothing against Americans but Canada would like the recognition for its Canadian talent! So much talent passed off as American. Elton John should have known this! He talks to Rosie like she wouldn't know anyone he was listening to and he doesn't know the country of a singer he really enjoys?🤔🙄🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

Just heard Tom Power interview her on Q about an hour ago. (That's what brought me here) When Elton said "from America", I said "what?" 🫣 Always loved her INCREDIBLE vocals. And what a great personality. New album and a tour. 👍

i am sure she's doing shows but as for recording music she's been done since 2003 that's quite a long time. I read she had a dispute with her record label...... so i guess that was the nail in the coffin

Honestly wish as many women wore their naturally curly as did in the 90s. Natural hair has pretty much taken over the black community, it’s sad that so many white women still feel the need to straighten theirs.

I saw this awhile ago but had to comeback today... That has to be one of the biggest MISTAKES in show business ever... Elton John says DarkHorse is a great song and could be number 1... You go on that same show and proceed to play a different song... WHAT WAS SHE THINKING!? That's so disrespectful to Elton and Rosie. Probably the number 1 daytime talk show on nationwide US tv and she DOESN'T sing Darkhorse... I really don't know much about Amanda, but I bet she was pretty arrogant going on that show and not doing Darkhorse... "Well, I don't want to be known just for Darkhorse, let's play a song I like more but isn't as popular..." JEEZE!

Well... what song did she do? Her huge hit at the time was Birmingham, so maybe she did that? Dark Horse wasn't even out yet, as a single.
@mmmfloorpie

@@davidvanderbyl4015 In the clip with Elton, Rosie says she knows about Birmingham. Her reaction after the performance is like she never heard that song before. If you go on a show where Elton John said X song is going to be a #1 hit, you damn well better SING THAT SONG!
