john....It's coming along great. Keep up the good work. I am looking forward to the next installment. I am also missing my favorite model builder, Angela.

Thank you . Unfortunately and due to the Pandemic, Angela is more interested in TikTok then in everything else , I hope it will change when she has to go back to School , so that she can finish her Project .

I have to ask: You find issues with the kits. So do we. Since this is an Amati video - I think - how do they respond to what issues you discover? Will this result in changes that eventually positively affect us??

Basically it's NOT a AMATI Video, it's a Video I am doing for AMATI but without Pay and Commitment . However, Amati always take a close Look on whatever Problems I find on their Kits . And in Case of the Robert E Lee it has resulted in that Amati is currently making new Instructions and new Material Assembles for it . I am not sure how long this Process will take and when the new and improved Kit will be available , but I am sure Amati will publish a Notification as soon as they done

@@davaoshipmodeller sorry but it starts with a big Amati. I have been fighting kit issues since 1982. Of course by now it is expected and one needs to keep ample material on hand and realize the kit is a suggestion, not reality. In the end? Thank you for your videos! It is enough to tackle a wooden ship. Much less film, edit, lay down audio, etc. Thank You!

@@davaoshipmodeller true indeed. In many things in life! I often fancy myself working with a bit extra “material”. 😎
