Thanks, looking forward to testing this track, just so cold out in my racing room at the moment :)

About 10 seconds before you mentioned your car displays, i was just thinking how incredibly awesome those things are! :D I'm not an electronics expert, so consult someone who is, but I believe the motors will create more drag if there is something trying to draw power from them. I think the easiest thing would be a light bulb (not LED) attached to the 2 copper strips at the wall. Each lane would have it's own source of power draw. An electronics engineer, or perhaps a subscriber can suggest what would be good. For sh*ts and giggles I'd maybe use a 4 watt night light bulb to try it. The current draw of the cars themselves might be a good place to start in search of something wanting the same amount of power. This whole project is awesome :D

Hi and thank you for your comment :) Those displays have taken so long to make and I still need 4 :D But it's worth it. I think you are absolutly right I was actually considering adding a small old fashioned light bulp to cause some resistance. Was also considering just using a resistor, but it would look great if the cars could make a light flash when breaking (will need some testing though) :) I'll do some more work on this later when I have got the drag race strip up and running. Once again thank you so much for your feedback, really appreciate it.
