Great to hear this but I think this is more of sign that increasingly, Africans and the black diaspora have started to value their continent. They have no choice but to take notice! We are on the move.. Kudos to everyone in the community showcasing the continent in good light, we started a movement. Yes, kudos all of us for standing up for Africa. Let's keep doing what we do. So true! Scrap dealers i.e. have the past stolen both plastic and metallic bins.We We need more monitoring cams to ward of these dealers.There are byelaws against littering.What is needed is enforcement to the letter.

The "Black Panther effect" is a troubling characterization to me. Africa in general and Ghana specifically was already moving in this direction. The movie did have a big impact, but as Danai highlighted the movie was influenced by the real world also.
