The ancient theater of #Arles was built at the end of the 1st century BC. AD, during the reign of Emperor #Augustus, just after the founding of the #Roman #colony. Started around 40/30 BC. AD, it was completed around 12 BC. AD thus becoming one of the first stone theaters in the Roman world.
The Arles #Arena is a Roman #amphitheater built around 80 AD. AD / 90 AD AD by the orders of Tiberius #Caesar Augustus, as part of the #Flavian extensions of the city.
