In this video, I review Amber D400: a mysterious 35mm film stock that gives photos a gorgeous warm tone. I share example photos throughout- both edited and unedited. I go over the film's specs, such as price, format, and general information about its constitution. I also share some of my own takeaways and observations about the colour, shadow, and grain structure of the film. Finally, I delve a bit into the mysterious origins of this film and interrogate the question of whether or not it is just repackaged Cinestill. If you're interested in trying out new and novel 35mm film stocks, but you're not sure where to start, this one might be a good choice for you.
Let me know down in the comments if you have another 35mm film in mind that I should review! I'll take any excuse to talk about film photography :D
