There are some very subtle and intimate passages in this piece, Martin. Hitting the spot. My spot that is. I produce music myself, but find that listening gives me the greatest pleasure. Letting the music roll over me. Total surrender.

Neptun looks and seems like the sweetest little kitty cat in the world - you are so lucky to have such a big fan to inspire you and keep you company. I love Neptun just as much as I love your music!

Are you making the switch from ableton? If so good choice! I switched at 1.0 and haven't looked back since. Bitwig= amazing. Just the more powerful audio clip editing alone caused me to switch.

Wonderful atmosphere! Congratulations for your OB-6. How does it complement the Iridium in your opinion? How do they fit together for this style of music with a sprinkle of synthwave/outrun?

Thanks for that fantastic work! Can you share how you created the drum pattern with the OB6? I got an OB6 also and just beginning to learn how to design sounds. Do you remember the preset you started with for the drums, I guess you used the filters but how could you create that deep plucking without higher frequencies? Thanks again, Thorsten!

@Martin Stürtzer: Very interesting Dozius Midi Fighter Script for Bitwig. Could you please tell me what Midi Fighter Script do you use in Ableton Live?
@MartinStuertzer

Hi! I did not find a good script for Ableton. I just assign midi CCs to different parameters one by one.

Hi Martin, just listened to this piece, wow it’s great mate, the OB6 sounds so sweet and you used it so well. How’s Bitwig compared to Live so far? Cheers Glyn.

Thank you! Bitwig offers a lot in terms of preset management and remote control with a midi controller. Live 11 is still very buggy a year after its release and so I tried to work with Bitwig again.

Darf ich fragen, warum dir Bitwig lieber ist als Ableton?
@MartinStuertzer
Жыл бұрын

Why use an OB-6 when there is an Oberheim Xpander in tha house?
@MartinStuertzer
Жыл бұрын
They are two different instruments. The Xpander is a modulation monster with a lot of envelopes and lfos. The Ob-6 has a much simpler setup but sounds great in all settings.

@@MartinStuertzer Ok, but the basic sound comes from OSCs and Filters. Do they sound different in OB-6?
