Great tutorial. Like how each step is used in building the 'rack'.

All of these modules are familiar to me, but I have looked at them from a new angle. And yes, the mixer is really cool. Thanks 👍

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I made a couple of recordings with this patch since then. Maybe I'll upload some, it's been a while... These are still amongst my most favourite modules!

Nice sampler! I'm going to try using all of these (only) in a patch, just for learning. I've been trying to learn modular synthesis, and it's a whole lot of elephant to chew. I really want to construct songs with Rack, more than simple textures, and that's proving to be a real challenge. Videos like this help me to understand the elements available and make good choices as to wat to use. Okay, that kind of just rambled on a bit, but thanks for the video!

Sorry for the late reply.. yeah, that's been my goal too, to create / 'compose' / perform whole songs rather than just cool sounds. I think I'm slowly able to create something that I actually want, rather than just experimenting. But it's actually this experimentation that's fun :) I should get back to it! Good luck!

Really enjoyed your video! It was very informative - I'm planning to test your favorites out~ However, I cannot find modular fungi on VCV rack anymore, which is a shame - it looked really cozy with the lights dialed down.

Late response, sorry, I've been taking a break from VCV Rackand KZitem. But I'm happy to hear that you found my video informative! I didn't even know the Modular Fungi modules were gone. I haven't really used Rack 2 yet, but I saw that it has the "lights off" functionality built-in: from the menu bar View/Room brightness.

Thanks! I really like using the sequencers by JW-Modules, especially the GridSeq, great for generating some semi-random notes. I had some fun with the NoteSeqFu, too.

HELLO HOW CAN I DO TO CONTROL THIS SOUND IN MIDI PLEASE HELP
@koma2000music
3 жыл бұрын
Hey, you would need to add some kind of midi mapping module to the patch, e.g. MIDI-MAP from VCV. Then you can associate the midi inputs from a controller with the chosen parameters of the modules you wish to control. Check out this tutorial by Omri Cohen kzitem.info/news/bejne/pZpmq3mJg5qBjXY
