Another great soft rock band that you two should definitely react to is the Little River Band. They have some great soft rock songs you would enjoy such as "Lady", "Lonesome Loser", "Reminiscing" and "Take It Easy On Me".

Both of you are awesome to give this classic and all time favorite song high regards and marks! I could listen it over and over! It always reminds of the relationships I’ve been in but that never lasted. One of these days I will finally get it to the woman I really love and dedicate it to her. Thanks for the post!!

This song was Ambrosia's very last Top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song peaked at the #13 spot during the early winter of 1981. Some r&b stations did played this song because the group does sound like black. This type of music was called blue-eyed soul.

What makes the lead vocals of singer David Pack even more poignant is the fact that he's profoundly hearing impaired. I'm also profoundly hearing impaired so he was an inspiration to me. Gotta love the vocal stylings here. "Holding On to Yesterday" is also a very good song, musically it's very similar to BB King's "The Thrill Is Gone". I'm not sure if you've reacted to "How Much I Feel" or "Nice, Nice, Very Nice" yet, but those are also good ones by Ambrosia.

Just to set the record straight. The awesome organ solo is by the great Christopher North. Michael McDonald did NOT write any of the song "You're The Only Woman" and he also did not sing or play keyboards. The vocal that you hear is from Royce Jones who was previously with Steely Dan.
