You just have to be a tech center city really. I could buy cards like this everyday in my local market place and actually buy a few to resell monthly. If you aren't close to a bigger city, then it could be hard to come across these cards. I have a RX 560 as my third backup card right now, I paid $10 for it and the guy even happened to be two blocks away, so super smooth sale. I got the XFX cut down version though, I don't mind really, it sips power, runs cool and can play some games, it's better than nothing, which is what it's job really is. Also, I used the fans for a RX 470, so my card is deshrouded with a 120mm fan zip tied to it. It actually runs just as cool and super quiet.

I was suprised by the results considering that some recommended the rx 460 and 560 as a step up from gtx 750ti . I thought too that the gpu is x16 but i found out that it's x8 when i was searching for a gpu .

Its a great card for its price and it also has hardware video decoders so its good for cheap HTPC build and can play some games. With 4GB of vram its even better. Also I wonder if turning off Frame generation in Starfield and Wukong would give better results? FG uses even more vram so the 2GB gets clogged.

It's weird that gpuz says the graphics card is Asus and in the subvendor category it says Gigabyte. In regards to Black Myth Wukong as long as the game feels smooth, playable and you can see what you're doing then it doesn't matter if the graphics card is bottlenecked or has the latest drivers or is under the minimum requirements. Heck my i9 10900KF bottlenecks my RX 7900 XT in some games but even in those games if the game feels smooth and doesn't stutter then it doesn't matter if my cpu is bottlenecking my gpu. I will say it is preferable to have a gpu bottleneck rather than a cpu bottleneck most of the time because cpu bottlenecks cause frametime inconsistencies and you want consistent frametimes.

For example, PCIe 1.0 has a 250 MB/s bandwidth in the one-lane configuration, a 0.500 GB/s bandwidth in the two-lane, a 1 GB/s bandwidth in the four-lane, a 2 GB/s bandwidth in the eight-lane and a 4.0 GB/s bandwidth in the 16-lane. It’s important to note as well that these lane-specific bandwidths are often doubled to account for bidirectional travel, or data traveling to and from each lane. Furthermore, each new generation of PCIe typically doubles its predecessor’s data rate and bandwidth for each configuration. For example, PCIe 1.0 has a 2.5 GT/s data rate and a 250 MB/s bandwidth in the one-lane configuration, while the one-lane configuration for PCIe 2.0 supports a 5.0 GT/s data rate and a 500 MB/s bandwidth, and so forth. But PCIe 1.0 and PCIe 2.0 are outdated. Today, PCIe 3.0 is a motherboard standard, at least until the industry universally adopts PCIe 4.0 and eventually PCIe 5.0. And by that point, PCI-SIG will have rolled out the next generation, PCIe 6.0, which is expected in 2021.
Only time when you don't really see performance drops is with gen 4 cause x8 is the same as gen 3 x16.

1:33 No, please😭 I will never understand people who stretch 4:3 image to 16:9. Everything is unnaturally wide. Every circle is squashed oval, square is rectangular and so on. Who actually enjoy watching distorted image? It's not like you see more by stretching 4:3 to 16:9. It's still the same image, except now it's distorted image. 🧐 If you want widescreen, just create Custom Resolution like 1184x666, and you'll have similar pixel count but in 16:9 aspect ratio. So it should perform similarly to 1024x768. The only proper solution with resolution stretching in mind would be to render the game with improper aspect ratio, ie. with fov affecting only horizontal axis. So it would be like rendering 1366x768 image squished to physical 1024x768 resolution, and then you "unsquish" it by stretching 1024x768 to your 16:9 display. Kind of like it is with anamorphic cinema. Except they go from 21:9 squished to 4:3 (film/sensor), and then unsqueeze it to 21:9.
