@@sadf1416 Europe makes a fortune off of Americans who spend thousand to take tours of old houses. New Port RI exists becuase those old mansions were saved and created a tourist industry and allowed for the historical society to fund the repair of mansions. Pennsylvania has a couple estates that bring in money from tourism, but this one is unique bc of the family and their connection to Titanic. This type of lifestyle, architecture, and interior design is part of American history and considering that NYC leveled the great mansions of this era few are left. Had a reoccurring dream of a mansion eerily similar to this one. The arch over the grand staircase was not there, and at the top was a balcony that overlooked a library. If you looked to the right at the top, there was a long hallway to a rounded room done in purple.

$50,000,000? Worth it. Lots of properties owned by super wealthy people are worth more. This is a gorgeous design.

No one can afford such luxury… these days. 1900 had top of line luxury the finest of finest, craftsmanship that we don’t see today and I believe we’ll never see again. The gilded age must have been the best time. Luck ass people !! 😊❤❤❤

It was also filled with a bunch of immoral people who started to push bs into our school systems and society, not just in America, but both the west and the east.
