I appreciate how Dick Clark asked all members a question. Whether you all think the questions were great, at least he acknowledged all members. Most interviewers would target to questions to the “star member.” Dick valued all members; Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael.

American Bandstand from the first half of the 1970s are a rarity since the second half's familiar open-air dancing front stage seems to be the most recognizable (not to mention, more popular) with disco dominating the latter part of the decade over the former's clutter stage assembly such as this one. And just check out the game show host jackets Dick Clark used to appear in during that period as well as with interviews with Terry Jacks, The Defranco Family, and the dude that gave us Spiders and Snakes. Also, for a time, AB was seen for 30 minutes to accomindate Action '73 and '74 (i think) before reverting back to its 60 minute format for the next decade before it went back, one last time, to 30 minutes until its demise in 1989.
