Hey! Can you make a video about how to pronounce words like...MIRROR, CLEARER, DEARER, HORROR...etc? The RER/ROR at rhe end makes it quite difficult to articulate. And I'm sure many other beginners find it hard as well.
@loribelle100
2 жыл бұрын
I'm trying to explain this to a couple of people on a grammar page who are mocking those who say "bedjroom" rather than "bed_room." They've used words like "sloppy enunciation" and "ignorant" to describe us. In response to a list of "dr" words that I listed - address, withdraw, laundry, tawdry, eyedrops, etc. - one just said, "There is no 'g' sound in any of those words." They're probably not going to look at anything I share, but hopefully someone else will learn from their snotty comments and your clearly enunciated information. Thank you for this helpful description!

Hello Keenyn I hope you're doing well as you know I've been learning English myself and your videos as I commend a few months ago it's been useful with the purpose to improve my pronunciation, however, once you beginning this journey the more you learn the more find new challenges and that's awesome because knowledge is endless so we need to push forward with everything in our power to reach our goals. Now I am trying to improve my writing skill, because of that I am used to reading some articles every day and I found some issues about pronunciation, for instance: mutter vs matter then when words come up one following the other like, get tough how to deal with letter "t"? even the simple "you" consonant sound "Y". Thank you to keep sharing free mini English Classes.

Hi there, Juan Garcia! So glad you are enjoying the lessons! 😊 You bring up 3 great topics- vowels (help coming in March here!), the held T (check out the American T lesson on the channel for help here- a more in-depth lesson will be coming in the future!) and the invisible Y before the U (will be covered in our March vowel lessons). I hope the coming lessons are very helpful for you! Best wishes!

I subbed for first grade and they were doing centers. With the teacher it was a spelling test and I had a couple DR words. This one student was having trouble spelling drink because she said she couldn't hear the D sound. I just kept repeating the word and for a second I was so worried that I was saying the word wrong!😅 But this video cleared it up. Thank you so much
