Kuching Sarawak enter into maps search and you’ll see it manifest as part of the big island part of Malaysia attached to Indonesia. Qiang seems very happy. How does it compare to Bali in terms of Places to Retire ?

Another great Vid, thank you very much. So for me looking at retiring either Chiangmai Mai or Kuching/Sarawak, I have not been to either yet (coming up in October), Kuching is starting to edge in front a little.

Hi Finn. My name is John. I am very interested in the S-MM2H visa, Do you know anything about that? I live in Colusa, by the Sacramento River in Northern California. I am looking for a sponsor next year so I can have Sarawak as a second Home.

Good video, we had a very hard time finding vegetarian in Japan, Thailand, Philippines and Cambodia this last winter, Bangkok and Chiang Mai were the only places, but we sure did a lot of driving around to get to the vegetarian places, it wasted so much time, Malaysia seems to be way better!!!

In Malaysia, because of the large Chinese and Indian population, there are vegetarian food to cater to our requirements. There are many vegetarians in Malaysia. Buddhists and Hindus who aren't vegetarian normally do not consume beef. As cow is sacred.

Welcome to my hometown, hope you enjoy your stay here in Kuching, Sarawak. Every weekdays we go to this morning till noon market to buy fresh vegetable & fish, it is very cheap & more variety of choices. The noodle that you ate is called "Kolo Mee" (direct translate: dry mix noodle), you must 'mix it all together' before you take a bite, and if its too dry, add-in/sip the soup, a must to eat/try if you are in Sarawak, because that's one of the origin Sarawak's food. There are many kinds/version of kolo mee and the red color kolo mee the taste is sweet & savoury.

Thanks Qiang and Dan! I've been doing research on the MM2H-S Sarawak retirement visa, but was having trouble finding an honest low-down on Kuching. Kuching seems a lot like Penang 30 years ago (Which could be a good thing). Hope you can share a bit more about livibility and costs, and compare Sarawak to Penang in terms of cost, livability, convenience and boredom.

You guys are in Kuching! I was just there for 2 weeks. Came back to KL last Thursday. Interested to see what you do there for a month? It was so humid we spent a lot of time in malls. A few malls were kinda dead. Let's just say the place was very relaxing.😁 Go see the Orangutans.
