The railway is 7¼" gauge. The loco is a scale replica of Phillips and Rangeley 2ft gauge, 2-6-0 with tender built by Baldwin Loco works in 1891 and named 'George M. Goodwin'. The miniature version was built in Wales, UK, by Cromar White Ltd. Most of the rolling stock (or cars in USA) is from RMIRailworks, USA. The Phillips and Rangeley Railroad was a 2 ft (610 mm) narrow gauge common carrier railroad in the State of Maine. It connected the towns of Phillips and Rangeley and was built to serve the forestry and resort industries of Franklin County. This railroad pioneered the use of large 2 ft gauge rolling stock in North America.
