Everyone else did boring black text meanwhile Luis used a pretty gold/bronze coloring (and I think green for other text) as well as having a similar colored case, makes the indentation of the lettering stand out better imo. Of course Bateman had to try and kill him, it was clear that Luis had far better taste exceeding his and all else.

The biggest comedy in this video is how the poster leave the subtitles for only a split second and still expect us to read and laugh.

This movie has so many green flags for me. -has to be watched multiple times to truly be enjoyed -really fucked up in a bizarre and hilarious way -offensive humor that actually has a point instead of being edgy for the sake of being edgy -the protagonist being batshit insane in every single frame -making fun of rich white men PS: If you're offended by the "making fun of rich white men" bit, then you definitely didn't get the movie or the book because the author explicitly said that that was the point 😂

I tell people all the time that this is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. Most people become concerned, but it's supposed to be funny. These people are so awful and fake its hilarious to see them interact. You shouldn't want to be Pat Bateman, but you should chuckle most of the time he's on screen.

Donald Kimball's scenes are some of my favorite. He always seems like he's serious and dead onto Patrick and then he just laughs it off.

In the Trivia section, it said They filmed every Willem Dafoe scene 3 times, 1 where he knew Bateman was guilty, 1 where he thought bateman was innocent, and 1 where he isnt sure, and the Director placed one of the 3 versions every time he appears, and honestly, when you watch the movie, you can pinpoint certain moments where youre like "yeah this is definitely a scene where he thinks patrick is guilty lol" Dafoe was great

I saw this movie for the first time in the mid 2000s and over the years it’s creeped up into being one of my favorite movies ever. There’s not a scene without some pure gold in it
