Hi there, I am Spanish and live in Spain. 🇪🇸 have been a couple of time to Scotland, one for UCL final in 2002 , what a time , the Scots themselves are excellent people, warm and well natured , at least with the Spanish. Had the time of my life and went back a couple of years later with the family on holidays, thinking of going back soon. If you can go you must, nobody should leave this world without seeing Scotland.

Celtic with a "K" sound at the start is the name of a native people and language of the British Isles, but unless every sports program I've ever seen in the UK is wrong, the football club is pronounced "Seltic", with an 's' rather than a 'k'.

Celtic are a club that transcend national identity. Yes, its heavily Irish but its for our wide diaspora from Argentina to Australia. The irony of it all is that Scotland is so deeply intwined with Ireland that you cannot avoid it. The same language, the same struggles, the same people down to the genetic level. We are one. Celtic and to a lesser extent, Hibs, capture the bond of Ireland and Scotland which is old as the hills in Munster and the hills of Argyle.

@@tommyden4165the overwhelmingly majority of Celtic fans have zero problem with English folk; that's just a silly thing Rangers fans say because they think everyone else in the UK should be mindless bigots like them. I'll be at the Celtic game on Saturday with several English lads, there's always fans from England. You're welcome anytime. ☘️🇮🇪🍀
