The theme song to Dad's Army is very memorable & the man who sang it died before the show became a nationwide hit in 1968

I am truly shocked by the omission of the "Match of the Day" theme, which surely deserves equal first place with Doctor Who for being iconic and instantly recognisable. If the criterion for the list is supposed to be "introducing drama", then Match of the Day still qualifies. kzitem.info/news/bejne/05CJu2uYnYV4iYo

I’d love to see a reaction to 999. Either the theme tune or the actual show. But the theme tune still gives me the shivers to this day 😱 It was a show about real-life accidents, with the events being reconstructed by actors/stuntmen (and occasionally, the victims themselves). They had some crazy/gruesome stories, but all of them were survived (there may have been the occasional story where a person/people died, but this was rare from what I remember). I was only a kid when it was on, but took away a lot of VERY important health & safety lessons from it. Don’t remember being too scared by it, if anything I was fascinated! Shame it still isn’t on now, it would probably stop many teens/young adults from doing some pretty stupid/dangerous things!

'Casualty' has been a great hospital drama. It had a strong cult following in the 1980s. The lyrics to the 'Only Fools and Horses' themes are online. Please do some 'Doctor Who' reactions!

If she is going to react to Doctor Who, react to the ones with either Christopher Eccleston, David Tenant, Matt Smith, Peter Capaldi, Jodie Whittaker, or the new guy Ncuti Gatwa. The monsters don't look as fake as the old seasons.

The list of memorable UK TV themes is very, very long. Making a top 10 that would satisfy the majority would be impossible. Ones missed off that I would include would be Gladiators, Grandstand, The Crystal Maze and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?.

Minder. Great, similar to only Fools and Horses with a great theme tune sung by Dennis Waterman.

Coronation Street 1st aired on 9th December 1960. It's still going today. It was originally called Florizel Street, but the name was changed. It was rumoured that Florizel sounded like a disinfectant. Not sure if that's true.

By far, the most memorial theme song is "The Tripods". What ever you do, don't get capped.

Yes, you should start reacting to Doctor Who! The only choice is start with the classic (1963-89) series (but where to start? 🤔) or with the new series (2005-present). I’d start with the Third Doctor Jon Pertwee (1970-74) because it’s my favourite and it’s in colour, not B&W.
