American chocolate barely tastes like chocolate to me. It tastes likes manufactured sugary-ness. We usually stick our flakes in an ice cream cone btw! Next time you should definitely try peanut butter kit kat chunky, WERTHER'S ORIGINALS, Galaxy. I also highly recommend the Swiss chocolate Milka. And 100% think kinder buenos or happy hippos will change your life. I think they're Italian but they're sold all over Europe.

Jamie Ball Of course you don't get the point. You don't have any education so don't act like you do. You're going to find Irish, Scottish, Welsh, Italian, German, and Canadian food items in the U.K. What she's reviewing is what's popular and sold in the U.K. When I think of Haribo, I think England even though it's German because you're crazy about it. If you go to the British Foods section at Walmart you're going to find Haribo. She should point out that Mars is an actually an American company if she ever reviews Mars bars too, right? Heinz is American and so is Ford. If you could make real money you'd be a tax exile living in Los Angeles, instead of being depressed living with no money in England, waking up at God awful hours.
@Jamieb193

nkmcfrln I love how someone else marked your comment as spam! LOL! Please tell me how you came to the conclusion that I have no education? I have qualifications from leaving school, plus college qualifications. Just because you used Wikipedia to find out where chocolate and sweets are made, it doesn't make you educated, you fool. You're not making this any better for her. When her video clearly advertises "British candy", you're just pointing out all the things that weren't British. Ford? Why did you mention Ford?

Aaron Halley America is also one of the newest countries in the world compared to everywhere else. The rest of the world is full of diversity. America is a part of the world that has lots of different diversity within it. I don't see what that has to do with eating chocolate and not being satisfied simply because it's only chocolate. I'm from England and when I try new food I actually decide whether I like it based on the taste. Not because there is "only chocolate and nothing else".

Introverted people get charged by being alone, so not everyone feels 'lonely' when they're alone :). I worked from home and lived alone for 6 years and loved it because it fit my personality. Introvert doesn't mean anti-social, it just means you don't want to be around people constantly.

@merlinscove

I'm British so here are a few things that might help..... Never heard of Coffee Crisp in my life! There is Aero (which comes in different flavours, like mint and orange etc) and Aero biscuits, Aero is just bubbly chocolate that you should let melt in your mouth or have some in your mouth then take a swig of a hot drink and let em melt! Wine Gums aren't actually alcoholic, its just a fun old thing from when they were created in the late 1900's. Fruit Pastilles are much nicer than Fruit Gums, and proper Maynards Wine Gums are much better than off branded ones. Rowntrees is pronounced Row-(as in an argument)-n-trees....you came closer to pronouncing than most Americans in these videos! A lot of our sweets and chocolates tend to be straight up chocolate (because our choc is gorgeous, no offence but US 'chocolate' is rank!!), or choc with caramel or wafers etc. Don't understand Americans confusion over the fact that a lot of our choc bars are just plain choc.....why do you have to have loads of other stuff shoved into it?! Flakes are meant to be that way, they are veeeery messy! Drifters are just amazing....so good! We sell a lot of good gummy sweets over here, we have loads of different Haribo, Rowntrees and Maynards.....all really great! So are the toffees and caramels....but they will pull your filling out! Suck em first, if you pardon the expression!! I usually find these 'Americans trying British.....' really irritating and sometimes offensive, cos everyone just pulls faces and slags stuff off, but I enjoyed yours! Made me and my hubby laugh! Love your work! x

I don't understand. Why do Americans always say the same things when they're trying out British sweets/candy. 'It's just chocolate'.....What are you expecting, rainbows to shoot out of it? Apart from the Hersey Bar, do you not have candies that are 'just chocolate'? I don't want to rant but it's almost like Americans expect more from our sweets. You've already acknowledged our chocolate is better, what more do you want?
@kendall6024
7 жыл бұрын
Laura Reinbach we have a lot of things in our chocolate like wafers, caramel, peanuts or peanut butter, pretzels, and honestly anything else you can think of. Your chocolate is better, I agree, but we also like other things in our chocolate- you should try American candy sometime. (Hershey's honestly isn't even that good, we don't eat it that much, or at least I don't.)

Ireland is not in Britain, It's Northern Ireland that's British
@Evultz
8 жыл бұрын
Not exactly, Ireland is part of the British Isles and Britain is just Scotland, Wales and England. So really it depends how you define being British. One way is all of the British Isles are British, the other is people from Scotland, Wales and England (doesn't include Northern Ireland). A lot of people including people in our own country get this wrong so... maybe I'm wrong too, if I am I apologise
@sophycohen1351

+Evultz Bristish Isles are the islands, so England, Scotland, Wales and the whole of Ireland (northern and southern). Great Britain is comprised of England, Scotland and Wales. The United Kingdom is England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. :)

Evultz nope sorry mate but you've got that wrong The United Kingdom of Great Britain is comprised of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. The republic of Ireland is separate and to be honest they would probably all like to be separated from us English and I don't blame them 😂
@Evultz

+Casey Pryke I'm fairly sure the "United Kingdom of Great Britain" doesn't exist (nor ever did but not 100% sure) 1707-1801 it was known as the "Kingdom of Great Britain" while in 1801 it merged with Ireland to form: 1801-1922 United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland where in 1922 South Ireland suceded from the union to form the Irish Free State leaving: 1922-Current United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland To read more: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Kingdom_of_Great_Britain_and_Ireland en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kingdom_of_Great_Britain

That's true and I respect that but I stand by my point whether they actually are British is dependant on your definition of "British" due to Britain = England + Scoutland + Wales (no Irish) British Isles = Britain + Ireland (island) +some smaller isles Regardless thanks for spreading knowledge and information (in a positive manner) *thumbs up emoji* have a nice day :)
