Foreigners and Indonesians'(or maybe for some countries too) tongue sure are different. I like Jahe(ginger) tho, well this is my opinion. They may taste bad, like, stings or hot in your mouth, but their smell aren't that bad. They smell kind of like aromatherapy scent(idk how to say it). Have you heard of jamu? Jamu is like a traditional ginger drink that is, of course, made of ginger. But guess what, they sell jamu for kids and make it taste better than the original so kids love jamu. Go and try them sometimes!

Hot ginger drinks are very popular in Indonesia (especially Java) for those cold nights and sick days. They are powerful and, well, tasty. And I gotta tell you, the heat from the ginger candy is considered mild here. Also I got really psyched when I saw the last thing you're reviewing is the Regal Marie Biscuits. That thing is legendary, guys. Aside from being a well-known snack that's been around for decades, in some cultures and families, Regal Marie is also the go-to meal for when you're really sick and you don't have any appetite for actual meals, or so sick that you don't have the energy to digest actual meals. You soften them up by dipping them in milk, and even water, and they're good to go to help make you feel better. Thanks for the awesome review. Greetings from Indonesia :-)

To be darn honest, some of the snacks you 2 were eatin' are rarely sold in Indonesia, mostly sold on other places (outside Indonesia or any place in America or any place in Europe of course), and they're usually tug away in a corner, so... it's pretty hard to find them. But yeah, Indonesia is the best place for snacks! Because sweet and tasty snacks always "sweeten" up our lives. XD

Hahahaa.. that ginger candy isn't bad at all. I don't like chilli or spicy foods, but that candy quite good you just need a time to used to it. You guys missed 1 snack that loved by everyone here. "Chiki Balls!" a snack with round shape like a ball. If you like Taro, I guarantee you're gonna love it. Btw I have secret tips for you how to eat Marie/Regal biscuit mischievously. You just have to soak the biscuit in milk or tea for few seconds until it mushy. Believe me, you'll get different experience.

Thank you for saying good things about my country because other people's titles for tasting Indonesian snacks are"tasting weird Indonesian snacks".

Now that's my childhood treats.. They have what they called "Beng-Beng" its a chocolate covered wafer with caramel and rice crispy. I surprised they don't put Suzanna Chocolate on that box, its a Dark Chocolate nougats, that Taro is my favorites and the Silver Queen, they comes with Dark Chocolate too..

These products are not common in Indonesian grocery store. 1. Dolcetto Chocolate Wafer Bites. 2. Mandy's Chocolate Cookies Thin 3. Ice Tea Candy I've never seen those products But 4. Sina Ginger Candy is an old product that is not popular anymore. Rarely seen in our regular grocery store. Trytreats should check their products.

taro n silver queen it's my favourite snacks...I love it and thanks guys keep it eating Indonesian snacks 😁😁
It's crazy how similar your opinions on most of these snacks and general opinion are! I'm in no way criticizing and it could just be a coincidence for this box, but the whole time I just dreamed about if it is that your taste buds are really similar how amazingly your grocery shopping and meal planning must go? Haha. I loved the video as always! Thanks guys.

Bleachigo66 our tastebuds are similar but the truth is that candy is almost universally liked or disliked

Nerd Therapy I guess that is pretty true, now that I think more about it. Probably would've crossed my mind if it had been a video of Reese's and snickers. The one that made me think about it was the Tea flavored one, since I know a lot of people with widely varying opinions on tea. Thanks for answering anyway, though! Love you guys and your content.
