Twiglets are flavoured with Marmite (yeast extract). We British really like savoury flavours. FYI, blackcurrants are native to Britain and northern Europe. We have many sweets and fizzy drinks (candies and sodas) flavoured with blackcurrant but, sadly for you, the cultivation of the blackcurrant is banned in the US (and possibly, Canada) as they carry a fungus which affects pine trees. Blackjacks are flavoured with aniseed, a plant related to liquorice. Galaxy is marketed in the US as Dove. Many apologies for the melted chocolates but our stuff doesn't contain butyric acid (unlike US chocolate) which increases the melting point. That particular chemical is banned in European foodstuffs and is on our Official Poisons List. Thank you for your fun videos...……......……………..the ancient Englishman.

Aniseed is not Liquorice! Aniseed is the seed of the Star Anise plant whereas Liquorice is the root of a plant. UK sweet manufacturers are not allowed to use artificial flavourings, colourings or preservatives. British chocolate is made by a different method to that in America and contains slightly different ingredients so the Kit Kat will probably taste different. Love your dog.

Loves black licorice yet doesn't know the difference between licorice and aniseed. Two different and unique flavors; black licorice has an earthy flavor made from licorice root while aniseed (Anise or Star Anise) has a strong herb flavor. In regards to Sherbet fountains they're more of an old fashioned sweet (released 1925). More than likely those bon bons contain sherbet which creates the fizzy texture due to its key ingredient: sodium bicarbonate (baking soda).
