It seems like there are very few videos of the Ames Brothers on TV on You Tube. They were on a lot of shows in the 1950s in addition to their own. Seeing this was great, thanks for posting!

This was a weekly syndicated 15 minute series, originally seen during the 1955-'56 season, nationally sponsored by Royal Crown Cola.

That was magnificent. Their recorded legacy is impeccable, and thankfully some live TV appearances such as this one have survived. Would love to see more.

for a while...stardom faded...I was born 1952. Ed and Fess had their day in the sun. Fess did well with it...I am still reading about Ed. I am a liberal and I am aware of Ed's conservative views.I love Ed and I am open to other views...completely.

This appears to have aired in spring-summer 1955 in syndication..Just found that it aired on WEWS-TV 5 Cleveland, Ohio April 1-June 26, 1955 for 13 weeks..First at 7:15PM Fridays then 9:15PM Sundays..From the Cleveland Plain Dealer TV listings of the period.

IMDB website says "The Ames Brothers" series aired in 1955. Most of these 15-minute shows were programmed between 7pm and 8pm. Some were network shows, while others were syndicated.

I did research of their history, and learned that they starred in their own television show in 1956, which was seen on Friday nights.
