In this second 'Ami Asks' video at Farleys she shares some more of Lee Miller's clothes. Presented by Ami with the expert eye of Zenzie Tinker, the recording is set in the recent Lee Miller Fashion in Wartime Britain exhibition.
Hidden at the back of Farleys attic in what were thought to be empty trunks and bags marked 'rags' we discovered some of Lee Miller's amazing clothes. The majority were found just before Covid-19, Farleys and Lee Miller Archives staff have since been working on cataloguing them.
Ami Bouhassane (Lee Miller's granddaughter) looks at some more of the clothes them with Zenzie Tinker, textile conservator, who has been advising the archives on their care.
