Thanks for the upload, Britain made most of the best horror films and Hammer, Amicus, Tigon etc were behind them all.

No not the best..the most nostslgic. As he says here they could never keep up with our 80s horror n the nasties phenomena but that little window they occupied was treasurable.

Obscure Entertainment Only 'Blood on Satan's Claw'...one of Britain's finest. Also (off the top of my head) 'Witchfinder General' and 'Blood Beast Terror.

I always much preferred Amicus. Shame they didn't go into any detail about the EC movies they Amicus made.

*_AMICUS: 'The Maitland Connection' aka 'The Eight Lives of Maitland'…._* 1. City of the Dead (1959) - Tom Naylor as _Bill Maitland / Tom Maitland._ 2. The Skull (1965) - Peter Cushing as _Christopher Maitland._ 3. They Came from Beyond Space (1966) - Robin Parkinson as _Maitland._ 4. The Mind of Mr Soames (1969) - Nigel Davenport as _Dr. Maitland._ 5. Tales from the Crypt (1971) - Ian Hendry as _Carl Maitland._ 6. Vault of Horror (1972) - Michael Craig as _Maitland._ 7. Fengriffen (1972) - Guy Rolfe as _Maitland._ 8. The Uncanny (1976) - Renée Girard as _Mrs Maitland._ _Maitland_ was actually the first Timelord, capable of regenerating from movie to movie. These are all the known regeneration identities that _Maitland_ is believed to have assumed. Please look out for our Limited Edition _'Maitland Sweet Cigarette'_ cards and remember to enjoy all your Maitland-Spotting - from safety of your own home. Yours sincerely, Lintom Busotsky _(Maitland Filmed Enterprises)._

All the great “Hammer” films I loved as a kid turned out to be Amicus! Funny how memory plays tricks on you.
