13:46 That vocal sample, I've heard it before in sonic adventure I think. Cool to hear it again!

You actually like this style of music? didn't think there was enough breaks in there for you :0 or is it the acid sounds that pull you in :)

@@off1k yeah it's not a style I usually go for, but listening to it rather than making it I don't mind, I guess if anything, I just like the amount of energy that vibes from his mods.

Now I understand why producers talk about only having 4 tracks to mess around with, and that that limitation became a creative spur so to speak. I might have to try and emulate this workflow in future and see what happens, sometimes it's easy to get caught up in 20-30 different channels and over complicate things, especially when it comes to compression. The fact that this is on an 8bit soundchip is insane. Is this really an 8bit WAV? The only thing I didn't particularly like was how wide it was, it was a bit confusing for the ears to have different elements panned to far left or right. But having said that, I have no idea how to do this, so I'm not talking from any position of authority here. I imagine that the dynamic range would have been eaten up drastically if you had it all coming through central. After doing a little research, it appears that the Paula chip has 2 channels for each side of the mix, which is why sounds are so far panned? Is this correct? If so, once again it's incredible what you've managed to achieve. With that said though, the elements are insane, and I can't wrap my head around what you've managed to achieve with such aged technology. The mixing is absolutely spectacular. Especially in 'I feel Alive'. It sounded exactly like the music from that time, without sounding amateurish or weak - which says a lot about your production skills! You've definitely mastered this software.

Yeah mate it's 8bit mono samples straight from a real Amiga 1200, that's why the file sizes are small considering it's all samples and no synths/midi etc. There's better sounding Amiga stuff on my channel, there's still plenty of peeps making tunes this year. kzitem.info/news/bejne/pJ13yYSQoamopWk

Thanks @OGDanGee 😅 mixing is actually easy when you only got 4 monophonic channels (not as many chances of mistakes) / Slice
