Bill Deal and the Rhondels were formed in Portsmouth, Va. They played a lot at Virginia Beach. Peppermint Beach Club was my old stomping grounds.

I will say this as a drummer for 53 years, he should've lower thos cymbols so they could see Ammon's face. After all he wasn't playing John Bonham. Love this band.

Was this recorded professionally? Awesome performance never to be duplicated. Would be fantastic if an east coast beach-music band would do a national tour. This great music is not just regional, now with KZitem exposure the classic beach music would be popular all over the USA, especially live. ⛵🏄♂️ Most folks love good dance music and this sure is it.
