beautifully well done. This past summer one of our Amorphophallus Titanum plants unfurled, starting at 2 pm. I was privileged to spend the night with it in the Huntington Botanical conservatory, along with two frogs. It was a Zen experience. Thank you for sharing.

This is lovely. I had not heard of this plant until I received a newsletter from Selby this morning (June 9, 2012). Very grateful to see this on the web as I am 4000 miles from Florida now. Thank you for sharing your wonderful work!

DANIEL, although three sets of seeds were delivered to Venezuela, I do not believe any survived. I am considering doing the Tales Of Titans CD-ROM as a DVD. It will not play on newer OS.

reffe, The Smiths have some form of culviva in a greenhouse. as the island of Sumatra is located on the equator also passes through the north of Brazil. actually, here in Brazil have not found any information on this plant. but I'll keep searching and when I know something you notice. hugs!

This was shot over a 48 hour period while on public display. There were short periods where filming was interrupted for various reasons. I came to the gardens to look (with camera) and the original time lapse crew were leaving because they could not control the environment. I did not have an intervalometer and had to manually time each shot.

It's a tree before it morphs into a flower which can take 20 years or more to bloom!!

The time lapse seems oddly artificial-looking (not saying it is, but I'm saying it appears that way).
