"Bicyclists, we have to get in where we fit in." There's never been a truer statement.

I got caught in a bad storm, normally takes about 20% of my battery to ride home from work, that day was it took 30%.

How many miles?
@Francis0316

@@Slow_PEV almost 6 miles each way, this is on throttle only. I have several other ebikes and surprised at the efficiency of this bike. I haven't even added the new battery yet. I have a 10 AH coming in any day, load balancer is already set up.

@Francis0316 I'm still learning what all the things are lol but my trip is the same 6 miles each way through hills and wind so this is good to know

You should adjust the brake levers. Put your hands flat on the handlebars and lower the brake levers so they're just touching your fingers. This will help you reach them better in emergency braking. Be safe :)

I have been on a bicycle for 30 years now and have come to know myself very well, never once struggling to slow down. Thank you for the comment it does help with engagement.

Okay I don't recall a time recently where I've seen a train on that rail that runs diagonal through snyder. I guess late last year? It's rare to some extent though it happens. I know a train held up the Northwest bus earlier this year, at least one time. I believe bicycles are technically supposed to have the same road usage right as cars for the most part. But that being said, bikes are still not cars, so you are right, kinda have to ride where you can fit given the circumstances.Wait, have there been any surrons in Cheyenne? The only surrons I've seen have all been videos on YT from other places.

Yeah I haven't seen any surrounding in cheyenne. I was watching the guys in l.a. and some are really classy where as others are like flipping people off and shit. I might get a surron or something simular.

👍cool... respectful rider. Especially watching out for the kids!!! Ebay has Class 2 ebike 750 watt 20mph decals... in case you do find the one asshole cop. I also found that gasoline will remove the Amyet paint on the battery pack... if you want to debadge it. Takes a minute with a damp rag, but it will start to rub off. Didn't harm the plastic on mine.

Why is there no key ignition slot on the handlebar?

Amazon has had genuine Amyet battery packs for $199. They have sold out twice in the last 3 weeks... but since they restocked before, they probably will restock again. I did ask as question about the listing and nobody answered. The heading says 20ah battery... further down in the listing it says 15ah. Don't know which one is correct...

It's a 20ah battery and the s8ncomes with a 25ah battery. I'll definitely be looking out for another battery I just tried to kill the battery with a trip around cheyenne and still had some juice, really curious how a 52 volt system would be with this frame and a 2000w motor then maybe a 3 to 5 kw setup later or I might get the motorgoat v3

@Slow_PEV but Amyet does have a 15ah battery... for their 26 inch wheel ebike. From what I read, a 52v battery will give slightly more power. Noticeable, but not much. It should maintain good power for a longer period of time versus the 48v, that should be where it's more noticeable. I got plans for mine too 😂. 3000w motor 72v battery. I'm not gonna try the 52v... I'd rather use that money to make the jump to 72v. I am gonna wait awhile... till something breaks or the battery starts to degrade a bit.. I might try a shunt mod. Their's a few videos on it.

Get a battery load balancer and an extra battery, plug in play, that's what I did.

@Slow_PEV I looked briefly at the goat. The price is why I chose the Amyet. Lots of videos of 2 - 3 thousand dollar ebikes that people end up modding anyway... and they say it's an improvement. I figured buy the same parts and I got the same as them for a couple of grand less. "Electricity on 2 Wheels" has a few videos of a Ridstar he converted to 3000w. 60mph is plenty fast enough on a bicycle 😂. He provided links for the parts he purchased. A good battery can be purchased a little cheaper than the one he got... around 1200 and your Amyet will make the Goat look like a turtle. Reading through his comments... he turned down the amps and was driving easy... it still goes fast. 16 inch Motorcycle tires fit on Amyet / Ridstar rims. We're gonna need them 😂

I drove like an absolute dumbass yesterday. I split a lane between a ferrari and a harley and ran a red light right in front of a cop. IDC
