In todays video, i'm sharing a more scientific approach (if we can call it that) on working on your social issues. When guys go to dating coaches or practice cold approaching or 'daygame', they take a 'jump into the deep-end' sort of approach. But for some guys this works, they can handle it, for others, it cripples their confidence and puts them off further from talking to women. A smarter approach is to identify each specific issue you have, and just focus your time on that. Get good at it, desensitise yourself to it, and get it to a point where its no longer an issue. Once you're happy with it, focus on the next issue. Repeating the process until the overarching issue isn't as much of a problem.
Another thing to bare in mind anxiety will always be there for every approach you have. Even the most experienced of men will have some slight fear in how a situation plays out. So your anxiety will never completely go away and that's healthy. But by reducing the focus you have on your anxiety and the particular moments you struggle with, you can certainly improve your confidence and of course, results.
In the video I'm sharing 5 action steps to take.
1) Identify the specific issue (e.g. I'm scared of giving a complement)
2) give it a rating (e.g. 8)
3) Question the anxiety (e.g. Its not a huge problem, with practice I can get better, if other people can complement, I can too)
4) Plan the solution (e.g. over 1 week I will spend an hour a day just observing people and thinking about what compliment I could have given and will write them down for ideas. For 1 week after, an hour a day I will go up to people and appropriately say the compliments to strangers and wish them a good day).
5) Rate where your anxiety will be (e.g. if I take action and implement my solutions, I want to aim for a 5).
Giving yourself a plan and focussing your attention on reaching a desired goal, will turn your attention internally to externally. Almost like a scientist observing an experiment, you focus on the desired result.
