Spotted in the audience: Helen Mirren, Billie Whitelaw, Bonnie Langford, Errol Brown (lead singer of Hot Chocolate), Bob Geldof, Jonathan Pryce, Peter Garrett (or his look-a-like) and of course the lovely and talented Anne with an e Bancroft (RIP). Being a Yank, I'm sure I missed some famous faces.

36:52 Mel's description of a coffee can for a loved one's ashes predates the Coen Brothers' 1998 Big Lebowski scene of the Dude and Walter's visit to a mortuary to find a receptacle for poor Donny's ashes, for which they were quoted a ridiculous price and so they ended up buying a can of Maxwell House coffee and discarding the coffee. And as Walter intoned a prayer and he released the ashes off the cliff into the Pacific Ocean, the ashes blew back into the face of the Dude, covering him with Donny's ashes! I never knew this was a Mel Brooks' bit!

Hard to imagine. However if you see her (and I don't just mean Caligula) in her Early career she is fairly combative because she didn't think she was taken seriously. She did do some pretty edgy stuff.
