Was super upsetting seeing Lando hate on himself this weekend. He’s amazing and one not so great Quali lap doesn’t define what kind of person he is 😊
@purpledahlia1969
11 ай бұрын
I agree. It reminded me a bit of 2019/20 and how he was so hard on himself and how much Carlos supported him and boosted him (if you remember the old McLaren unboxed videos). Let's hope that qualy response was a temporary response. He certainly bounced back in the race. Now he has to be his own mentor and learn how to deal with having a really competitive teammate who is being hyped all over the place.
@shaunmcgrath983
11 ай бұрын
@@purpledahlia1969 I personally think his race performance was the best of the weekend. Oscar is obviously very talented and new but Lando closed a 10 second gap to him and was mostly the quickest car out there. George did well to get 4th from his first lap incident but he was a half a minute behind Lando. Land hasn't`t been pushed in a while, this will be good for him I believe. Some are saying Oscar is the new Max but I think that's a bit quick to say. Both the McLaren boys are extremely quick and I'm not so sure it won't be Lando who prevails in the long run.

Lando here saying talk to your friends and family, I fully tell you the same. Anyone. At shool a teacher. In practices the coach. If you feel alone, there are mental health centers and call services. You are never alone, even when you feel it the most. As someone who struggles with mental health daily, this cannot be adressed too much. Mental health is the first thing that matters. Always. No matter what anyone says. "You should be able to..." are the most hurtfull words. And you understand it only if you know the struggle to do basic needs, like going to shower, brushing hair and eating. The amount of energy it takes to "be alive", and someone basically says you are not doing enough. That hurts way more than anything. And no, it doesn't mean you are depressed if you struggle to do basic stuff. For me it's related to ADHD and overwhelmed mind that leads to anxiety and panic attacks. If I hadn't fought for my real mental health diagnosis, I might still be diagnosed as severly depressed and not gotten the help I need. And I seriously understood it afterwards, how much help I needed. And there is nothing wrong with that. Getting better is a journey. Setback need to happen for the progress to get a chance. Never doubt yourself, you know yourself best and you deserve to take the help offered. Always stay safe ❤ And again thanks for Lando and McLaren for bringing this to discussion. It literally saves lives ❤
