The Cat Anderson method is incredible and it works! I've used it for decades and range up to double C is easy. It's not a matter of strength but more a matter of controlling the air stream. I was lucky I got some advice from guys who played with Cat, and one thing I can tell you is that he used this method and it works. It will fix most embouchure, endurance and sound problems.

It forces you to form an aperture vibrating tunnel in front of and not ON the teeth

Hey Larry, thanks for posting all the great videos. By doing the ‘wedge’ breathing and this whisper G exercise, I noticed it just feels like the G just comes out on its own until I get low on air. Is that right?

If you have time to respond, that would be great! When playing these whisper G. Does one resist the normal buzz? I have to pull back my air flow A LOT or it turns in to a 'Farting G' and not a whisper G as you demonstrated.

Hey Larry, whisper tones a la Charlie Porter, vs teeth aligned CAnderson whisper tone. Is the top teeth ,bottom teeth alignment crucial or do we have same benefits with whisper tones normal embouchure vs teeth aligned whisper ?

Whisper tones have been around a lot longer than Charlie or myself. The cat Anderson position concentrates the fatigue in the center of the orbicularis muscle

So when you are practicing, the whisper tones should you actually have your teeth clenched together?

This plan has exposed the fact that my chops are not in the centre but slightly to one side. What a revelation for me.

my teeth are misaligned, some teeth on the top row stick out allowing air to escape, my whisper tones are quite loud and full, any advice?

Hi. Nice videos. Is the goal, that there is no tone, mostly air?? Are you closing the lips a lot(like the pencil)? Erik
