I really love this. In 2019 I wasn't looking good, not just body, even my skin looked blah. I didn't feel good. I was afraid of diabetes and I hated how I felt so for the next two years when everyone was gaining quarantine 15, 30, 50.. I lost 60lbs and saw my top abs making an appearance. I was happy as anything but I really, really noticed how amazing i felt and swore I'd never go back to eating so poorly. In 2021 I was diagnosed with cancer. Not ONE doctor or nurse ever asked me about my diet or if I exercise. Maybe because I'm in decent shape ? I don't get it, I had doctors appointments left and right, not one meeting with a nutritionist to talk about how important nutrient dense foods are to keep your body strong while you are taking chemo. Not one appointment with a physical therapist or anyone else related regarding trying to maintain, or start getting physical activity in to keep your body strong. I'd go for treatment and they are offering Oreos and Coke at 8:00am 😂 and I'm like is going on here ? Is not funny, it's weird, like aren't we all aware by now that high, empty calorie, nutrient devoid, high sugar, chemical laden foods can lead to cancer ? I don't get it, I'm sitting in this chair for 4 hours taking poison to kill the cancer, while I'm eating the other poison you are giving me, which was probably a factor in me getting cancer in the first place. There's a hundred reasons and it doesn't matter why, but I ate all that garbage for three decades and typically when you eat so much junk you are obese, I was. So poison from the food with hormone disruption from my weight are two big things that probably contributed plus all of the years I was sedentary. There are sooo many ways exercise benefits our bodies and minds. You think they'd tell cancer patients about the benefits of exercise on oxidative stress and how beneficial it can be. It just really upsets me because everything is take another pill, take a shot, take these hormones. I don't understand why would I take overactive bladder medication for hot flashes ? So when my hot flashes go away I have a problem because my bladder got used to the medication so now I have to go back on it forever ? I took wheat germ oil for two months and they are gone. Ok, I could go on forever lol... anyway, I seriously love you talking to the patients about nutrition. I know it's hard to get through to a lot of people, keep fighting the good fight ✌️
