Ugh… I’d gladly pay $20 for one of these for Tahoe. I’m going in 2 weeks and there is zero dependable info on what resorts have less miserable lines for groomers.

Hopefully next season will be my Tahoe year, but I've got nothing for you for now. I'm so sorry.

I love watching your videos, and I really love it when you tee off on one of my pet peeves. You don’t have to apologize for a damn thing!

Northstar has great groomers. More than half of the mountain is groomed and they groom some of their black diamonds the lines can be long tho, and because of the low snowfall theirs grooming isn’t as good this year. Heavenly has some great groomers, but are super crowded. Stick to the California side if you are going there. Kirkwood is super underrated and you don’t have to worry about lines. Palisades is alright but crowded and probably not worth it with this little snow. I haven’t been to the other resorts. Hope this helps.

The best way to get on the mountain is to skin up before the lifts open. Of course that means you are local or live in another mountain town. I’ve never met a tourist that goes ski touring.

We tourists are perfectly happy paying gazillions of dollars to a large corporation for ski lifts... right guys 😂😭? In all reality, I think mountain locals are there cause they really like the mountains, right? Meaning they are happy to go out and get that exercise in the peace and quiet of nature. Tourists who aren't from the mountains, well, we like nature, sure, but not so much that a) we sacrifice a lot to live in mountain towns, and b) we are willing to put in the effort to head out early and skin up. I know I don't speak for everyone, but that seems to be the trend I've noticed. Skinning up is definitely on my bucket list, though.
