Once again some family's home showing it wear and tear of life. I always wonder about the families and their life there.

Breaks my heart to see so many of these great old places just sitting empty and falling apart. Would love to have a farmstead like that. I'm glad though that this one still remains rather than being demolished. They are silent memorials to past lives and should be allowed to endure.

Gives me a strong feel of "this is what it will look like when people go extinct". The wind somehow added to the apocalyptic atmosphere.

The picture window and the front door with the three glass panes in a diagonal pattern both seem very 1950's-ish, which could be when the owners renovated the house.

That stuff up in the upstairs bedroom I believe it’s called mar-light to this day. It still comes in 4 x 8 sheets at menards very cheap .

9:42 Ooh' Rainbow D2 canister vacuum cleaner (minus the water pan and roller dolly,, but probably in there). The Rainbow D4SE is hands down the best vacuum cleaner ever made. For upright vacuum cleaners I recommend the Hoover Concept 1 self propelled. Don't like the water (Rainbow)? Get a Filter Queen Majestic.

I live in New Hampshire. Cant go out back to the creek for two minutes without having to pull five of em off of me... They have become " real bad". Lord knows what diseases and illnesses they will cause. Ticks& Leeches by TOOL is a great song, check it out if you have not..

Nearly all these old abandoned farmhouses you'll see the bright out of place paint in the bedrooms, that one last attempt to update it....

I've always been under the impression that they're usually rented out at the end, and often renters seem to choose the bright, cheap paint.

Ive seen countless cases where it was clearly a young family living in one of these old farmhouses and they always paint the walls bright colors. Mostly in the bedrooms. One last cosmetic renovation. Definitely makes me feel sad...
