Dear Pathfinder Family,
Just when you think normal life has been disrupted as much as it can, things get weirder! In light of recent guidelines, we’re dramatically shifting the way we do ministry for the foreseeable future. Please give the video below your full attention!
To recap:
- Weekend worship will be online only for the next several weeks. The service will be available at 9am (CDT) on Sundays, and “on demand” after that.
- Lenten mid-week worship will now be offered online too! (Although no in-person worship or meals for the time being). The midweek service will be available at 6pm (CDT) on Wednesdays.
- Pathfinder Kids, Pathfinder Students, and all on-campus ministry events will be suspended until further notice.
- If you regularly volunteer or work on campus in some other way, please contact your staff leader or liaison for clarity.
Now, here are the OPPORTUNITIES we see God providing us during this crisis:
- We’re opening the Sanctuary for prayer on Sunday mornings, 10am-12noon. This is NOT a time to gather, but a time for personal prayer in a sacred space. We’ll have systems in place to limit the number of people who can gather in that space at the same time. So if you come to pray during that window, be patient, and be prepared for a short wait.
- Our next scheduled communion weekend is April 5, and if this is still going on, we’ll find ways to serve communion from our Ellisville campus, even if we’re still worshipping online only.
- Look for more online content (midweek services, video devotionals, congregation wide updates). We’re ramping up to meet you where you are spiritually during this time. To make sure you don’t miss anything, go to www.pathfinderstl.org/watch . Click “subscribe” then click the bell icon to enable notifications.
- Our staff is still here to serve you! Doctors are still taking care of people’s physical needs and your church staff is here to care for your spiritual needs! Let us know if you need us by calling us or emailing care@pathfinderstl.org
- After restrictions lessen but before we’re back to “normal,” we intend to add some smaller pop-up worship gatherings and other ministry experiences.
- Isolation is NOT good for the soul or the body. Even if we can’t meet all together for a bit, once the guidelines loosen, we can go “house church style” like the New Testament and worship in smaller communities for a time. We’re working on plans for how we can help coordinate and encourage that.
Our staff is working hard to figure out ways we can serve you, and also our unchurched community with the Gospel during these times of uncertainty. God WILL redeem all of this for good! So please continue to financially support our mission, even though you’re not physically attending. Our world needs us to BE the church more than ever… frankly so do you and your family!

You can expect a LOT more communication as things unfold. Just remember, God is with us and for us and all these setbacks are opportunities for us to SHINE. As the Apostle Paul once said, “Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity.” -Colossians 4:5
Let’s do it!
Peace,
Dion
