@@MinaAyoubChef Ay I just tried these and they're phenomenal. No goopy or pancakey texture at all. I used I Can't Believe It's Not Butter and Select protein. Because of that I used a but more butter, like 5 grams. It seemed to balance out. Bout to get your protein and spread the video out so you can get yourself a camera brodie. Your effort doesn't go unnoticed! Side note, I think going live on here would get you some donations. Just do a live of you making a dinner or something and people will show you love. Cookies are HARD to make. I appreciate the effort that went into this, and I wish it got more views. I've made a lot of appalling attempts at cookies and this is certainly the best I've had. Personally, I think it tastes best with Sunbutter. It's more neutral and "cookie-ish" somehow. I still come back to your videos often, and I hope you'll consider returning to making content at some point. The brownie recipe, pancake recipe, and nacho recipes have all shown up in my diet for years now.

This is my favorite cookie recipe and the only tweaking I do is browning the butter for a better texture, brown sugar swerve instead of regular granular swerve and a little bit of Vegan protein for texture reasons too. You knocked this out of the park man!

Thanks a lot for making a recipe for macro-friendly cookies that are ACTUAL cookies! I have a question on it though. We need fat and sugar in order for them to inhibit the gluten formation. Why do we use 50/50 butter/peanut butter and 50/50 sugar/sweetener instead of using 100% peanut butter and 100% sweetener? Also since we don't really want gluten in cookies, wouldn't it be better to use gluten-free flour like oat flour?(as long as we have access to them but I reckon everyone who watches the channel has oats in their house) We do have egg in the cookie so it shouldn't fall apart. And again thanks again for the recipes in your channel that are far closer to the real thing than all the other anabolic recipes in other channels. Bless you and the scientific explanations you give!

thanks for the comment! we need the fat content from butter, and real sugar helps a lot with the texture and cookie spreading. We don't want ALOT of gluten but we do need a little. I didn't have luck with other flours, not to say it's not possible though

This tastes amazing! I used my worst tasting protein (muscle feast hydrolyzed vanilla whey). The protein has a very good texture, the texture is almost as smooth as flour. I don’t even taste it in the cookie. I like peanut butter but I’ve used sunflower butter for other recipes and they tasted horrible.

Let them sit overnight. They are way better the next day 😉. Don't eat them straight away, even though it's tempting. They need time to rest. You can bake them before bedtime and you will wake up to an awesome treat. The recommended rest time of 10+ minutes did not do it for me. But the next day, they were completely different cookies. Way better texture, way better taste. A bit high in calories but in order to cut back on that, one would need to turn to more exotic ingredients such as the ones I came up with a while back, but I think they could be a bit off-putting to some users because not everyone is willing to order in specific ingredients they only use for that 1 recipe.

Subbed the protein for PESCience Select chocolate peanut butter cup as my only substitution and added 28g semi-sweet chocolate chips ... Some of mine were undercooked still at the 9 minute mark but after getting them all done, gotta say these are the best protein cookies I've had by far. The texture was literally a hybrid between a pancakey-anabolic cookie and a real soft cookie. Taste was very rich on the peanut butter flavor (probably because I used peanut butter cup protein powder) but I really liked it. Just curious, what did you feel was off about the PEScience-based cookie when you made it, Mina?

What about ingredients like Ricotta and Tofu as subs? I've made boxed cookie mix using Ricotta instead of butter and Tofu instead of eggs and been pleased with the extrude. Haven't tried a from scratch cookie recipe with these ingredients, but worked well with box mix. Obviously not truly anabolic, but a good amount of protein from the Ricotta compared to butter and Tofu and eggs are similar, so no protein loss there.

So due to baking components, the integrity of fat is important to uphold with more pastry category items. Would using a more fat based butter result in a more crispy cookie? (Ex Irish Kerry Gold) Additionally due to the same foundation focus of baking ratios, I’m assuming vegan protein blends would have to be tested or may not be useable.
