This video has been prepared to give viewers with a scientific or engineering background the skills to think and talk quantitatively about climate change. It provides simple equations that can be used to make do-it-yourself climate calculations, and provides examples of how to put those changes in context with current weather variability. Examples are shown of how to plot the 70 year climate trends in your area, and compare those to what the IPCC climate report might suggest you should have expected in your area. Precipitation and sea level changes are also covered. The material was prepared by the author based on self study largely centered on the IPCC, along with a number of reference books.
