What if the interraction between the variables gives a significant difference at custom analysis, whilst when you do a full factorial it not significant? Which is the most appropriate to use?

Your instructional videos have greatly aided my stat work. One point of inquiry: How can we know if the "new" effect size with the covariate controlled is SIGNIFICANTLY different from the "old" effect size? I noticed in these results that although the new adjusted female mean has increased (1270.5917 --> 1301.495) it is still within the confidence interval (CI) of the unadjusted mean: CI 1234.815 -- 1306.368. On the other hand, the adjusted decreased male mean (1473.9775 --> 1427.623) is now OUTSIDE the unadjusted CI 1430.160 -- 1517.795. Therefore, can we say that controlling the body size component significantly changes the effect of sex on cranial capacity ONLY for males, and NOT for females? Thank you very much, AL (Regarding my comment: Please ignore that some of the text has been "struck-out". The YT text editor appears to have done this automatically.)

LOVE YOUR VIDEOS! I only use SPSS and love it because of you. And I have learned a lot of statistics with you, because you not only show how to do the analysis, you also explain everything (for what they are, what each result says etc). THANK YOU A LOT!

Hi, I love your videos!! I have a question regarding the component you created. In my data I want to create a component among three variables, but how can I sure that this new component is correct. And what happens if I have a control group which have no treatment (with these three variables)?

Thanks man, saved my statistics test and my studies. Great job! You´ve explained it better than any of my docents. :)

When you mention the criticism directed at ANCOVA, is this what you are referring to? Miller, G. A., & Chapman, J. P. (2001). Misunderstanding analysis of covariance. Journal of abnormal psychology, 110(1), 40.
