Analyzing Qualitative Data with Quirkos
Dr Daniel Turner of Quirkos will lead this session, showing you all the steps needed to start analyzing your qualitative data with Quirkos - a simple software tool. It will cover bringing in different types of data (including secondary data and literature reviews), and different approaches to analysis like thematic, grounded theory, and IPA. Ways to connect notes, research journals and reflexive writing will be demonstrated, as well as how to use Quirkos Cloud for live collaboration. There will also be a demonstration of the forthcoming automated transcription tool in Quirkos. After the session, participants should have a good understanding of how software can help researchers manage their qualitative data, and how to use Quirkos to move toward writing up their research.
