I love Chuck even tho he can go too far at times. He says whatever he thinks, for good or bad. But with regards with AD, what is "fully healthy"? Because he did play a couple of games last season, and he wasn't the same monster he was in the bubble. His shooting went down & since the team had to rely on him even more defensively, he took a hit in that department also. I'd say he was healthy for most of the games he played. Maybe we should expect that this is who AD is now & that we're past the days of him dominating like he did the bubble

This is also why I don’t completely understand the videos that you and other have made on Westbrook. I think its obvious he played poorly last year and didn’t try to adjust his play style like he should have and had plenty of lowlights. However, I think that playing all 82 games says something and that if you’re looking for the biggest culprit for why the Lakers missed the playoffs and had the most disappointing season in franchise history, you’re getting to see who should be taking the largest portion of blame in this video. He was also the reason they lost to the Suns the year before.
@tooforwon241
Жыл бұрын
Fair point! Durability is one of Westbrook's most underrated qualities. But that doesn't change the problems with Westbrook. If you agree that he played poorly and was stubbornly refusing to adjust to the team's need, then what don't you understand about the videos I made about him?
@PumpkinBreath
Жыл бұрын
@@tooforwon241 I don’t understand why you don’t point out in your video about Russ, that the Lakers and him would have had a much better season if AD had played a majority of the year. I understand you made a video about AD today. I just think when you point out all the issues with Russ, which are valid, you should also toss in a disclaimer somewhere in video saying “well obviously these are all issues with Russ, but him and the Lakers would have had a much better season if AD had played a majority of it, and AD should take the majority of the blame for how their season turned out because he didn’t play.” Because that’s the truth. Russ may have played poorly. At least he played.

Did I say this? I just pulled the clip of Ham's comments because the next day ESPN talked about it for two more days. LeBron's comments at the end bothered me because this is the second year they deal with injury issues. By now they should know to build a better team that can play through injuries. AD has been injury prone his whole career, and with Bron also getting hurt lately, that's why they went ahead and traded their depth for Russ. So if for the third year in a row, AD & Bron get hurt again, then the Lakers have only themselves to blame for losing and not hide behind this stupid excuse of "we weren't healthy" for the third year in a row

That's equivalent to holding Ron Harper to a higher standard than Scottie Pippen, if the Bulls were to play a bad stretch of basketball.
