Great video. But you still don't shock asystole. Common misconception due to Hollywood and even the way AHA and Red Cross depict the use of the AED, if using an AED the only rhythm it will recognize is "V fib" or possibly "V tac." The purpose of shocking those lethal rhythms is to (in the rare occurrence) put them back into an organized sustainable rhythm or knock out the unorganized conduction of the heart and put them into asystole. The method of action after asystole is recognized is high quality CPR and proper medication administration. The only thing that will bring a organized rhythm back from asystole is building up the cell storage of depleted ATP through high quality CPR. That's why it is imperative to push hard, properly, and fast. This is just what I was taught. I know things change regionally. Food for thought.

Great video. I learned lots! At 37:10 you talk about medications "lowering the blood pressure, which makes the coronary arteries expand...". Is that correct? Or is it the opposite cause? That the medications make the arteries to expand, which is the cause of the lower blood pressure?

Initialy studying human anatomy seems to bo complex and overwhelming. It is tru?e that it is complex and your studies wont alter that. As for it being overwhelming, that can be eleviated if you take it one step at a time. I found an article on Sebs Study Crammer extremely useful for this.
