More time spent on that field than I care to remember. I still remember guys locking their knees and then toppling like trees in the September heat. Last USNA Alumni mag had middies parading in camo on the cover. Seemed really strange. I had the unfortunate occasion to go to a military funeral about 3 years back here the military Chaplian was also in camo. Different times. Bryan USNA '88

My son, who is now 10 years old, may want to go in the Navy someday. He asked what I thought, and I said, "You bet"!!! GO NAVY!!!

I'm not convinced "Anchors Aweigh" does the US Navy justice. Perhaps they should adopt "Heart of Oak"

Actually a lot of them do. The French, Italian, Algerian, Hungarian, Turkish, and Communist Vietnamese anthems are pretty bloody themselves. And lest we forget Das Deutschland Lied with lyrics like "Germany, Germany above all others. Above all other in the world". PS: To all the men and women of our Navy: Bravo Zulu!
